Other Graphite Materials

Purified Micronized Graphite (PMG 6-10)

Purified Micronized Graphite (PMG 6–10) is a high-purity graphite powder produced through micronization and purification of natural flake graphite. The material retains the characteristic flake structure of natural graphite while achieving a fine particle size suitable for a range of industrial applications.

PMG is typically used in alkaline batteries, lubricants, gaskets, and other applications where fine graphite particles provide conductivity, lubrication, or sealing performance.

Purified Flake Graphite

Purified Flake Graphite is a high-purity graphite concentrate produced from natural flake graphite and processed to meet specific purity requirements. Westwater’s purified flake graphite products are typically sized between +100 mesh and –100 mesh, supporting applications that require consistent flake structure and carbon content.

This material is commonly used in sealing and gasket applications, as well as other industrial uses where graphite’s thermal stability, conductivity, and lubrication properties are valued.

Graphite Fines

Graphite Fines are a byproduct generated during the production of coated spherical purified graphite (CSPG) used in lithium-ion battery anodes. These fine graphite particles can be utilized in a variety of industrial applications where lower-purity graphite is suitable.

Graphite fines are commonly used in the steel and foundry industries, as well as in certain lubricant formulations and other applications that benefit from graphite’s lubricating and conductive properties.
